Directions to the Shanti Yoga Glasgow's Hidden Lane Studio, Finnieston, West End-
On Foot-
Standing on Argyle St, Finnieston in the West End, with the police station, PC world and Staples on your left, keep walking straight up Argyle Street, passing the Hidden Lane Gallery and Tesco on your left until you reach an archway (1103 Argyle Street), across from the Villa Toscana restaurant and before the G.G Brothers off license. Go through the archway. The studio is in the Orange Building (24a-The Lairds building) to the left of you as you come through the end of the archway. Walk through the door and upstairs, the studio is the first room on your right.
By Bus
The 61 and 9 depart from the Hope Street bus stop (at the corner of Hope Street and Gordon Street. You alight at the stop across from the Tesco on Argyle Street, Finnieston, West End and follow the above walking directions.
Directions to the Shanti Yoga General Classes at the Steiner School, Yorkhill, West End-
On Foot-
Standing on Argyle St in the West End, with Kelvingrove Museum on your left, keep walking straight up Argyle Street and follow the road round to the right until you reach the garage. From here you should see the Firebird Pub on Old Dumbarton Rd. Take the street to the right of the pub (Arthur Street) then right at the end of this road onto Overnewton Street. You go past the park on your left and to the end of the road. You should reach Lumsden Street.
The Steiner School is the big old building in front of you as you reach the end of Overnewton Street. You go in the main gate with the arch and up the stairs and into the main building.
From there you follow the sign, up the stairs into the Osprey Room.
By Car
Start on Argyle St in the West End, with Kelvingrove Museum on your left, keep driving straight up Argyle Street and follow the road round to the right, past the garage until you reach the cross roads, take the first right, and then first right again, going behind the Goat pub onto Overnewton Street. You carry on to the end of this street, going past the park on your left. You should reach Lumsden Street.
The Steiner School is the big old building in front of you as you reach the end of Overnewton Street. After parking, You walk in the main gate with the arch and up the stairs and into the main building.
By Subway
Getting off at Kelvinhall station, you come out of the subway and take a left onto Dumbarton Road and keep walking for about ten minutes till you reach the Kelvingrove Museum and follow the walking directions above.
By Bus
The 23 and 16 depart from the Hope Street bus stop (outside Black and Lizars Opticians and across from Bath Lane and the stop before the corner of Hope Street and Bath Street). You alight at the stop across from the Kelvingrove Museum and follow the above walking directions.
